Terms and Conditions

Required Documents

For Tourists:

  • Copy of passport
  • New entry into Turkey within the last 6 months
  • A copy of the foreign driving licence (you must provide an international licence or have it translated and notarized by a notary public if it is not sufficient on its own).

     
  • License must be older than 1 year

For Residents:

  • Copy of residence permit or Kimlik
  • Copy of Turkish driver’s license (must be older than 1 year)
  • Proof of residential address with an electricity or gas bill

 

Rental Conditions

  • No car reservation can be confirmed if the booking starts at a distant future date.
  • Daily mileage limit: 150 km
  • Monthly mileage limit: 3,500 km
  • Refundable deposit:
    • $300 for small cars
    • $500 for medium cars
    • $700 for SUVs
    • $1,000 for VIP cars
    • For VIP Plus cars, deposit amount depends on the car type
  • Extra mileage charges:
    • Small cars: $0.25 per km
    • Medium cars: $0.35 per km
    • SUVs: $0.50 per km
    • VIP cars: $1 per km
    • VIP Plus cars: $5 per km
  • Extensions must be requested 72 hours before the return date, otherwise the car may be booked by someone else.
  • Upon return, tolls, bridge fees, and traffic fines will be deducted from the deposit.
  • For crossing the Third Bridge or Osmangazi Bridge, fees must be paid directly, or the company must be informed if not paid.
  • If a car is returned voluntarily before the rental period ends, the contract is considered fulfilled, and no refund will be given.
  • If the booking is canceled by the customer for any reason, the down payment (deposit) will be kept as partial compensation for the booking loss.
  • If the car is returned dirty, a cleaning fee will be charged.
  • If the client wishes to travel outside Istanbul, the company must be informed.
  • License translation & notarization fee: $65

 

Pick-up & Drop-off

  • Cars are picked up and returned at the company office:
    AXIS Istanbul AVM, Building B2, 3rd Floor, Office No. 38, Bayrampaşa
  • Delivery hours: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, regardless of pick-up time.
  • Outside working hours, holidays, or if the contract ends on a holiday, service will be charged.

Delivery Fees:

  • $40 – Asian side of Istanbul
  • $45 – Sabiha Airport
  • $35 – Istanbul Airport
  • $30 – European side of Istanbul

Office Working Hours:

  • Monday–Friday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed

Extra charge: $15 for pick-up or drop-off between 6:00 PM – 9:00 AM

 

Accident Procedures

In case of an accident:

  1. Take photos and a video showing all sides of both cars, the license plates, and the location where the accident occurred.

  2. Take photos of the other party’s documents (Driver’s licences from both parties, the vehicle registration, the insurance file, and the phone number).
     
  3. Call our company and coordinate with the accident department.
  4. Call the police and file an accident report.
  5. Park the car safely on the side of the road if possible to avoid further accidents.

 

Insurance Details

  • $0/day Basic – No cover: if you’re at fault, you pay all repair costs and vehicle downtime.

  • $5/day Smart – Comprehensive cover for exterior & interior damage with excess ($2,000 economy / $2,500 mid-size / $3,000 SUV / 5% of car value for luxury).

  • $15/day Premium – Comprehensive cover for exterior & interior damage (no cover for glass, tyres or natural disasters).

  • $30/day Elite – Full cover incl. exterior & interior damage, glass, tyres and natural disasters.
